• About NIS Roots and Shoots

  ->>Roots and Shoots is a club dedicated to making our world a better place through projects that promote care and concern for animals, the environment, and the human community. This worldwide organization was started by Jane Goodall and gives the NIS chapter guidance and focus. The NIS club was started in 2004 and has a membership of high school students that strives to make their campus a more environmentally friendly place.
  
  This blog is also the home of NIS' Temple Aid Program, a pilot project founded by Ms. Elissa Francemone and Yu Vongkiatkajorn. In conjunction with Care for Dogs, we take care of all the dogs at Wat Nong Ba Klang.
